First Edition. Davidoff and Dyke developed lumbar encephalography in 1932, publishing a paper on it the same year. “In 1937 the authors published a monograph on the subject entitled The Normal Encephalogram. After Dyke’s premature death in 1943 Davidoff collaborated with radiologist Bernard S. Epstein (1908-1978) on a follow-up monograph entitled The Abnormal Pneumoencephalogram (1950).
