First Edition. Labbé was a surgeon at the Midi and several other Paris hospitals. His name is associated with Labbé’s triangle—the zone of the anterior abdominal wall corresponding to the anterior face of the undistended stomach—and Labbé’s operation for gastrostomy by incision of the chest wall along the lower edge of the last left rib.
