Autograph letter signed to Dr. Curwen

Keith’s letter to Dr. Curwen concerns a donation to Down House, the onetime residence of Charles Darwin, which had been restored and converted into a museum largely due to Keith’s efforts. The letter reads: “Dear Dr. Curwen, Yes! indeed. Cullen’s Nosologie with Erasmus Darwin’s signature in it is a welcome addition to Down House Records. Dr. Howarth [O. J. R. Howarth, Down House’s first curator] of the Brit. Associat. is the resid. custodian & I’m forwarding it to him. Erasmus & his younger brother Charles were together in Edinburgh as you know.
