First Edition. The largest and best portrait of paleontologist and zoologist Richard Owen, superintendent of the Natural History department of the British Museum, and one of Darwin's foremost adversaries. The portrait formed part of a series titled Portraits of Honorary Members of the Ipswich Museum, published in 1852. Very rare.Book Id: 40423
