Early edition of Thomas Bartholin's revision of his father's classic Anatomicae institutiones (1611). The first edition of 1641 included the earliest depiction of the fissure of Sylvius, and the present edition includes Bartholin's discovery of the thoracic duct (G-M 1096) and his analysis of the lymphatic system (G-M 1097), first published in 1652-53.
