The letters discuss the offprint, which Singer has requested, and make some bibliographical comments on it, reflecting Dobell's famous meticulousness and his confidence in the inherent interest of his research.Considering Singer's and Dobell's achievements in historical writing, this exchange is definitely a collector's plum.
